"After spending thousands of dollars and graduating at the New York Film Academy, I couldn't get into one door. One phone call to your company and I'm on a $10 million motion picture. Thank you!"
-- Paul Closkey,
Student,
New York, NY

What Does It Cost?

The total cost of an Entertainment Connection apprenticeship, including all placement research, curriculum and training materials, mentor/instructor compensation, and in-station training, is US $8,450.

If payment is made in full at the apprenticeship's commencement, a US $1,000 discount is applied, lowering the price to US $7,450.

Since you will be attending at a Television Studio in your area, you need not incur any extra living expenses.

Tuition is not due until formal acceptance is made by your mentor/instructor, after a mutually acceptable in-Studio interview. There is no charge for an interview.

There is no charge for any additional interviews you may go on.

If you go on interviews and feel that this program is still not for you, there is no cost or obligation to you.

A financing plan with low monthly payments is available. Typically, a minimum down payment of US $4,000 is required to enter the apprenticeship; with monthly payments of US $500 starting upon commencement at your selected TV station. This is not an application fee. No money is due until you're accepted and receive contracts from Entertainment Connection's corporate office.

Entertainment Connection is a workplace based apprenticeship program, and therefore there are no government student loans or grants available. However, private loans are readily available for this tuition amount.

* Financed balances are subject to monthly finance charges of 1.75% (21% per annum).
